STORY
I'm Chad, and I'm from Dallas, Texas. I attended church throughout my childhood and adolesence, and I came to saving faith at a young age. Still I found myself prone to worshipping sports, success, the applause of people, and my own self-righteousness. At times I felt trapped in various sins. I tried to force myself to stop sinning and quickly discovered my inability to overcome it. By God's grace, I came to understand the gospel. God began to draw me and I responded with belief in Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I'm not perfect, and occasionally I still struggle with sin. However to his praise and glory, each year I see that God is making me look more like Christ and less like my sinful self.
VISION FOR ENAMOR CHURCH
My vision for Enamor includes (1) a big-picture vision and (2) a smaller, more detailed vision. First, the big-picture vision is to plant at least ten churches in the cities along the mountains of Colorado and Wyoming. Second, the small-picture vision is to see Enamor Church, and each of the church plants, passionately display the beauty of God for the watching world. This can be summed up by Word and Spirit. We want to be a church that is filled with the Holy Spirit and informed by Scripture as we pursue God. The natural outworking of a church filled with God's truth and the Holy Spirit, among other things, will be sharing the good news of Jesus with others and leading them to follow him.
